Robo Door Deluxe Trellis Door
Our strongest trellis door. Every upright is slotted and riveted, the lock cylinder sits behind the handle, and it carries the Robo Door Break-In Repair Guarantee for five years.
Robo Door DuPlus Trellis Door
All steel, with double uprights, steel tracks and no plastic parts. The lock-keep keeps the cylinder out of reach. It takes longer to make than Deluxe or Econo.
Robo Door Econo Trellis Door
The lowest price in our trellis range. Every third upright is slotted and riveted, which keeps the cost down.
Robo Door Alu-Deluxe Trellis Door
Made entirely of aluminium, so the flights, uprights and tracks do not rust the way steel can near the sea. Same lock protection as Deluxe.
Robo Door Swing Trellis Door
The Swing Trellis Door is our hinged burglar door: a steel trellis door that swings open on hinges like a normal door, for front, back and kitchen doors. It is made in our Alrode and Lusaka factories to your door frame. Frame, infill, hinges and lock are chosen for how often the door is used. Choose it for a single doorway with room to swing; if the gate must fold fully away, choose a folding trellis door.

The Robo Door Break-In Repair Guarantee
Deluxe is the only trellis door that carries it. If a forced break-in attempt damages a Deluxe door within five years, we repair or replace the Robo Door-made parts that were damaged, once you send the police case number, photos and a written claim within 30 days. Read the full conditions.

Swing Trellis Door. Need a gate that opens like a normal door? The Swing Trellis Door is our hinged burglar door: it swings open on hinges instead of folding to the side. Choose it for a single doorway with room for the door to swing. It carries a 5-year Swing Trellis Door (Hinged Burglar Door) manufacturing warranty, is quoted to size and is made in 15 to 21 working days.
What does a trellis door cost? Econo trellis doors start from R3,500 and the Deluxe Trellis Door from R4,500. DuPlus, Alu-Deluxe and the Swing Trellis Door are quoted to size. What a security gate costs in 2026.
Prices include VAT. All four take a slam lock, a deadlock or both, up to three locks per door. Deluxe and Alu-Deluxe keep the lock cylinder behind the handle; DuPlus guards it with a lock-keep.
Is a trellis door the right door?
- A doorway you want to leave open for air: a trellis door folds away to one side.
- A single doorway with room for a door to swing: the Swing Trellis Door, our hinged burglar door.
- Side space but no swing space: a sliding security gate.
- A window: burglar bars.
Finish and colour
Bronze, charcoal, white or sand come as standard. Any other colour, or hot-dip galvanising, adds a week. Near the sea, choose Alu-Deluxe. Paint and rust cover by finish is on the warranty page.

Every Robo Door quote gives you two options. With Installation: we measure and fit it. In Gauteng our own team fits; elsewhere in South Africa the Robo Door location for your town does, in Zambia our Lusaka team, and the Robo Door distributor in most other markets. Supply Only / DIY: supplied to your measurements for your own fitter, in all twelve markets.
