Garden gates for side passages and walls
Make the side entrance practical first. A garden gate may open several times a day, sit in a narrow passage or share space with bins, meters and garden equipment.
What we measure
Opening direction, clear width, latch position and the walls on either side, before the design is chosen.
Swing or sliding?
A hinged gate is the simplest layout where the leaf has room to swing. In a tight passage where the leaf would get in the way, a sliding gate works better.
Match the main entrance
The face and finish can follow your driveway gate, fence or privacy panels, while the hardware stays built for a pedestrian gate.

Finish
Steel is powder coated, sandblasted and primed, electroplated or hot-dip galvanised; aluminium is powder coated. Paint cover runs from one to five years depending on the finish, and galvanising adds rust cover of up to ten years inland. The full table is on the warranty page.

Supply Only / DIY: supplied to your measurements for your own fitter, in all twelve markets.
