Staircases built from your floor levels
The building decides the stair. Floor-to-floor height, opening size, landing positions, headroom and the route through the building set which layouts will work.
One structure, not loose parts
Stringers, treads, landings, connections and edge protection are designed together. If the stair has a balustrade or railing, we coordinate it with the main frame before fabrication.
Engineering and approvals
Building, escape-route, loading and professional-design requirements depend on the project. We follow the engineering and approvals your job needs.

Finish
Steel can be powder coated, sandblasted and primed, electroplated, or hot-dip galvanised and powder coated; aluminium is powder coated. The paint warranty runs from one to five years depending on the finish, and galvanising adds rust cover of up to ten years inland. Robo Door steel and aluminium staircases carry a 2-year manufacturing warranty. The full table is on the warranty page.

Installation or supply-only (DIY)
Every Robo Door quote gives you two options. With Installation: we measure and fit it. In Gauteng our own team fits; elsewhere in South Africa the Robo Door location for your town does, in Zambia our Lusaka team, and the Robo Door distributor in most other markets. Supply Only / DIY: supplied to your measurements for your own fitter, in all twelve markets.
