Robo Door Freestanding Pergola
A freestanding steel pergola on its own posts and footings, made to measure by Robo Door. For gardens, pools and parking where there is no wall to fix to.
Pergolas that stand on their own posts
Choose freestanding when the cover should stand away from the house, or when there is no wall to fix to. It works in a garden, beside a pool or over a detached entertainment area.
Posts and footings
Post positions, ground conditions, levels and the covering all change what the footings must carry. We design them together before fabrication, and engineering is done per project.
Roof or shade
Pick the covering for rain, shade, light and upkeep. It affects the frame and the drainage, so it is chosen with the structure.
Freestanding or attached?
If the building can carry a connection, compare an Attached Pergola.
Product: Freestanding Pergola.
Finish
Choose powder coating, sandblast and primer, electroplating or hot-dip galvanising. The paint warranty runs from one to five years depending on the finish, and galvanising adds rust cover of up to ten years inland. Robo Door Freestanding Pergolas carry a 2-year manufacturing warranty. The full table is on the warranty page.
- No wall connection needed
- Footprint and height set for your site
- Estate or municipal approvals dealt with per project
- Roof or shade covering chosen per project
Installation or supply-only (DIY)
Every Robo Door quote gives you two options. With Installation: we measure and fit it. In Gauteng our own team fits; elsewhere in South Africa the Robo Door location for your town does, in Zambia our Lusaka team, and the Robo Door distributor in most other markets. Supply Only / DIY: supplied to your measurements for your own fitter, in all twelve markets.
