Why aluminium near the sea
Salt air rusts steel. Alu-Deluxe is aluminium throughout: flights, uprights and tracks. It has the same lock protection as Deluxe, with the cylinder behind the handle, and a 10-year Alu-Deluxe manufacturing warranty. It does not carry the Break-In Repair Guarantee.

All four take a slam lock, a deadlock or both, up to three locks per door. Deluxe and Alu-Deluxe keep the lock cylinder behind the handle; DuPlus guards it with a lock-keep. Deluxe and Alu-Deluxe run on aluminium tracks, DuPlus on steel.
Colour
Aluminium is powder coated. Bronze, charcoal, white or sand come as standard; any other colour adds a week.
What we measure
It stacks to one side when open, so it needs room beside the opening. We check the track fixing and the floor before we make it.
Questions about Alu-Deluxe Trellis Door
What is the difference between a trellis door and a hinged burglar door?
A trellis door folds to one side on a track, so it suits wide openings and doors you leave open. A hinged burglar door swings like a normal door and suits a single doorway with space to open into.
What is the difference between a trellis door and a sliding security gate?
A trellis door folds up like a concertina and stacks at one side. A sliding security gate is one rigid panel that slides along a track beside the opening, so it needs side space.
Can I have all my locks keyed alike?
Yes. Ask for keyed-alike cylinders when you order.

It is made in our Alrode and Lusaka factories to your door frame. Frame, infill, hinges and lock are chosen for how often the door is used. Choose it for a single doorway with room to swing; if the gate must fold fully away, choose a folding trellis door.
