Trellis doors and burglar bars in Randburg

Randburg keeps us busier on windows than on doors. Of 213 orders with a Randburg delivery address in the 24 months to September 2026, 157 were installed by Robo Door, and together they covered 280 burglar-bar panels. Econo Fixture Lite was the favourite at 130 panels over 18 orders. Econo Bars came close behind at 119.

Doors, gates and balustrades

Trellis doors came to 171: 106 Econo, 55 Deluxe, six Alu-Deluxe and four DuPlus. We also put in 21 security gates, 13 garden gates and six sections of steel balustrade. The jobs were in Ferndale, Blairgowrie, Northcliff, Fontainebleau and the cluster complexes in between. Another 31 orders were repairs or service on existing products.

These figures cover Robo Door orders placed in the 24 months to 9 September 2026, matched on the delivery address. Some addresses name more than one area, so the area totals on this site overlap. Do not add them together.

Doing it in stages

Plenty of Randburg owners start with the front door and patio and come back for the windows later. The quote is priced opening by opening, so the second round matches the first in colour and product line.

Does rust matter here?

Not much. Randburg is inland, so powder coat over sandblast and primer is enough for a sheltered doorway. A gate standing in sprinkler spray or out in the weather is better hot-dip galvanised first.
