A fence is only as good as its supports and access points.

Each fence type solves a different problem: visibility, climb resistance, rigid deterrence, privacy, corrosion resistance or appearance. The boundary survey decides which matter most on your site.

Which fence?

• Clearview Fencing: dense welded mesh you can see through, hard to use as a ladder. Good where cameras and patrols need a clear view.
• Palisade Fencing: vertical steel pales on horizontal rails. An obvious, rigid boundary.
• Steel Fencing: cleaner welded panels for homes and businesses.
• Slat Fencing: horizontal or vertical members when privacy and looks lead.
• Aluminium Fencing: light and corrosion resistant. Section sizes and spacing still follow the height, exposure and span.

Posts and footings

The panel is only part of the fence. Height, wind, ground conditions, level changes and gate loads set the posts and footings, and these are settled before fabrication.

Design the gates with the fence

Driveway and pedestrian gates specified with the boundary keep frame lines, material and finish consistent. A gate added later is often the weak point, visually and mechanically.

What affects the price?

Run length, height, fence type, ground changes, posts, footings, gates, finish and installation. A low panel price can mislead if the posts and gates are not in it.

Finish and care

Steel can be powder coated, sandblasted and primed, electroplated or hot-dip galvanised; aluminium is powder coated. The paint warranty runs from one to five years depending on the finish, and galvanising adds rust cover of up to ten years inland.
