Trellis doors and burglar bars in Johannesburg

Our factory is at 18 Barium Street, Alrode, on Johannesburg's southern side. Since 2005 it has supplied homes, offices and industrial sites across the city, and our own installers fit what it makes.

The last 24 months, by address

Up to September 2026 we took 417 orders whose delivery address names Johannesburg, and installed 274 of them. An order in Sandton, Randburg, Roodepoort or another suburb with its own page is counted here as well when the address names it.

The mix: 345 trellis doors (233 Econo, 88 Deluxe, 16 Alu-Deluxe and 8 DuPlus), 301 burglar-bar panels counting fixture-fitted panels, 60 security gates over 48 orders, 21 garden gates and 25 sections of steel balustrade. Commercial roller shutters added 400 units across eight orders.

Repairs from the people who made it

64 of those orders were repairs or service on existing gates and bars, handled by the same factory that built them.

Inland finish, in plain terms

Johannesburg is inland, so rust is less of a worry. Sandblast, primer and powder coat does the job in a sheltered doorway, with a three-year paint warranty. A gate out in the open or in sprinkler spray is better hot-dip galvanised under the powder coat, which adds five years of rust cover.
