When to choose crank

Small shutters can be pushed up by hand; shutters opened many times a day may justify a motor. Crank sits between: a curtain too heavy to push that doesn't need a motor.

Curtain size, how often it opens, headroom, the guides and where the handle sits for the person using it.

Finish

Steel parts can be powder coated, or hot-dip galvanised with powder coat on top. Galvanising or a non-standard colour adds a week to the 15 to 21 working days.
