Slide or swing?

Choose sliding when the wall beside the entrance has room for the gate to park and the leaves have nowhere to swing. If hinged leaves suit the site better, compare the swing driveway gate. If the side run is short, the sliding-and-turning gate may fit.

Built for your gate

Frame, wheels, guides and stops are made for your gate, with anti-lift detailing where the design includes it. We check the ground line for the track at the site visit.

The motor

If you automate, we fit a Centurion gate motor: the D5-Evo or D5 SMART on gates up to 500 kg, the D10 SMART on heavier gates. Centurion's own specification for these motors includes battery backup, so the gate keeps working in a power cut, and a key-locked manual release for opening it by hand. Finish

Powder coating, sandblasting and primer, electroplating or hot-dip galvanising. The finish sets how long the paint and rust cover lasts where you live; the warranty page has the table. Galvanising or a non-standard colour adds a week to the 15 to 21 working days.

Questions about Sliding Driveway Gate

Do driveway gates include a pedestrian wicket gate?

Not automatically. We make a matching pedestrian gate beside the driveway gate, quoted separately.

Can I customise the design and colour of my gate?

Yes. Choose from our design library or send your own. Standard colours are bronze, charcoal, white and sand; any other colour adds about a week.

Do you do refurbishment of existing security gates?

Yes: repairs, sandblasting and new powder coat. If the frame is badly rusted or bent, we will tell you a new gate is the better buy.
