The Robo Door Break-In Repair Guarantee

If a forced break-in attempt damages your Deluxe Fixture bars within five years, we repair or replace the Robo Door-made parts that were damaged. Open a police case, then send us the case number, photos and a written claim within 30 days, and we inspect before we repair.

The Deluxe Fixture bars must have been installed by Robo Door or an authorised installer and properly maintained. Labour is excluded unless your quotation includes it, there is one claim per incident, and any change to the product voids the guarantee. Read the full conditions.

All four are fixed inside the window reveal. Burglar bars start from R1,000, including VAT.

What we measure

The bars sit inside the reveal, so the reveal has to take them. We measure the window, check the frame type and find solid surface for the coach screws before we make anything.

Keep a way out

Fixed bars do not open. On bedrooms and other rooms people sleep in, decide which window stays clear as a way out before you choose fixed bars for every window.

Finish and colour

Bronze, charcoal, white or sand come as standard. Any other colour, or hot-dip galvanising, adds a week to the making time.

Powder coating, sandblasting and primer, electroplating or galvanising: the finish you pick sets how long the paint and rust cover lasts where you live. The warranty page has the table.

Questions about Deluxe Fixture Burglar Bars

What is the difference between fixed and welded burglar bars?

Fixed (fixture) bars are trellis-style channels and uprights fitted inside the window reveal on all four sides, in the Econo, DuPlus, Deluxe and Alu-Deluxe versions. Welded bars are one-piece steel panels in a pattern, such as Spanish or cottage pane, made to the window.

Can I install a Robo Door product myself?

Yes, most products can be ordered supply-only. You lose the Break-In Repair Guarantee on Deluxe and Deluxe Fixture if you fit them yourself, and fitting faults are excluded from the warranty.
